Green & Good iOS App
I created the Green & Good iOS app for iPhone and iPad to provide a way for users to quickly find information about the Green & Good products. The app was written in Swift and connects to a database to retrieve and display product information and photos. I was responsible for all stages of the mobile app design and development process, from initial conception, UI design to app store submission. The app is free and available here on the app store.
Public Transport iOS App
I am currently working on a public transport iOS app for mobile phones and the Apple Watch. It displays location based information about train services nearby, and shows users the departure times for trains. The aim is to promote public transport usage and quickly allow the user to find information about the next trains at their nearest station, and other nearby stations. I was responsible for the design and development for this iOS app. Wireframes and mockups were created, I then programmed the first version of the app using objective C, which connects to a publicly available API data feed of train times. The second version of the app is written using Swift.
Everything Environmental Ltd Mobile Website
I created this fully responsive mobile-ready website for Everything Environmental. I was responsible for the design and development of this WordPress based website, from the initial stages right through to launch and evaluation. The website connects to a product database to display company and product information. The aim was to produce an easy to use, engaging website with attractive product pictures and interface to encourage product sales, which works well on mobile devices. Contract and Build Logo Design and Business Cards
I designed this logo for a construction company called Contract and Build. I was also asked to design their business cards, which were printed in 1 spot colour on both sides. The main aim of the logo design was communicate the full design and build service offered by the company, and their trustworthy, professional approach.
Air Ready Logo Design and Business Cards
I designed this logo for a holiday lettings company called Air Ready. The client already had a website but required a classic, stylish logo to reflect the high specification, iconic nature of the properties that they manage. This was achieved using illustrative elements and historic typefaces. I also designed the business cards with a clear and concise style to quickly find all the information needed to contact the company.
Reporta Web Design
This visual web design was created for a brand called Reporta, which supplies travel products and clothing. I created the look of the website to reflect the rugged, hard-wearing nature of the products for people exploring places off the beaten track.
Hannah Paget Brochure Design
I designed and typeset this 12 page A5 brochure, which was designed for a new collection of designer, handmade handbags. The bags are very luxurious and the layout and print finish needed to reflect this. The brochure was intended to promote awareness of the new range and encourage online sales.
Music Beacon Apple Watch App
The Apple Watch provides new opportunities for notification based apps. Music Beacon is a festival app that I’m currently working on. The idea is to provide an easy to use app to enable people to find out who is playing and where at a given time at a music festival. It uses ibeacon technology. This ibeacon app sends a notification to your Apple watch and iPhone when near a stage informing you of current and next DJs and bands at that stage.
