I specialise in designing and developing native iOS apps for the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and I also build native Android apps for mobile phone and tablet devices.
Recently I have been working on some mobile application design projects for the Apple Watch called Transport Beacon and Music Beacon, both of which will use Ibeacons where available. If an Ibeacon signal isn’t found, GPS is used instead.
Apps can include Ibeacon connectivity and GPS location based functionality for uses such as providing location specific notifications and travel information. Event driven and location based notifications can be built in to any app.
By focussing on user goals, and utilising platform specific design standards and familiar design patterns, I aim to deliver easy to use mobile applications. An awareness of the constraints and benefits of mobile devices allows me to deliver an optimal user experience. Mobile devices are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes and apps are developed to adapt accordingly to these factors.
I aim to provide sleek and highly intuitive user interfaces and always apply user centred design principles and practises. I can create fully customised apps with map and location based functionality, with notification and messaging features. I can also create apps which utilise hardware and communications features such as telephony, SMS, Bluetooth, camera and hardware sensors.
I can ensure that your app reaches it’s intended audience by publishing it on the relevant stores, and can also deliver apps with in app billing services.
